Felix Conran
Founder, HA Partners
Felix Conran is a British designer, entrepreneur, and the founder of Ha Partners, proudly based in Higashiyoshino, Nara Prefecture, focused on developing sustainable models for countryside living. Ha Partners blends global design thinking with local materials and expertise to create desirable, well-crafted products and spaces, with the broader goal of supporting rural economies and encouraging long-term habitation outside urban centres.
Felix began his career in product and furniture design and went on to co-found Maker&Son, a direct-to-consumer furniture brand known for its handmade, all-natural sofas and distinctive mobile showroom concept. As a director of the business, Felix played a key role in developing its products, expanding internationally, and establishing a vertically integrated model that prioritised comfort, transparency, and sustainable practices.
